Design with Meaning

The Savile Row Private Collection is more than a fragrance range it is an olfactory celebration of heritage, craftsmanship, and individuality. Each Extrait de Parfums is beautifully presented in a bespoke, elegant 100ml bottle that exudes luxury. Each bottle is uniquely coloured to reflect its individual character, it's meticulous lines mirroring the precision of a master cut.

The hexagonal cap is a deliberate choice, its geometry representing the six fragrances in the launch collection and inspired by the flawless pattern work of bespoke tailoring. This cap pays tribute to the angular precision used when cutting fabric, while the central “button” (Bucula in Latin) bears Savile Row’s distinguished stagecoach motif, symbolising heritage and tradition. Substantial in weight and presence, it serves as a refined emblem of timeless elegance. 

Every element of the design, down to the outer carton wrapped in a bespoke-inspired fabric pattern, tells a story of heritage, artistry, and enduring luxury. Just as no Savile Row suit is ever off-the-rack, neither is our approach to scent: each fragrance is a masterpiece of thoughtful design, precise execution, and timeless legacy.

The Savile Row Custom Made Escutcheon (Crest)

Prominently featured, the Escutcheon, or shield, captures the essence of Savile Row Custom Made’s tailoring heritage, now interwoven with the world of fragrance. The crest is divided into three sections: the upper half bears a stagecoach, representing our humble beginnings centuries ago. The lower left quadrant features three scissors, honouring the essential tools of the trade. The lower right quadrant carries a refined striped pattern, paying homage to the cloth used in suits, where every tested and perfected before the final cut. Crowning the shield is a regal emblem and banner, symbolising Savile Row’s ties to the Monarchy. Gold detailing evokes the Royal Patronage long enjoyed by master tailors. Flanking horses, or “Charges,” stand guard, representing strength and tradition, while the centrally placed coach reflects our origins.
